1st dore²cuo X-MAS Cup

FINAL RESULTS

Our first little XMas Cup is over and again a little slimy green santa-alien is on top of podium . With 45 Points and winning of 5 maps he got the rights to spend us all his coppers . Fight for 2nd and 3rd place was much closer. Daigle won 2 maps and was 5time on 2nd, reached 33 points. Mungos won also 2 maps was one time on 2nd and 5time on 3rd reached 29 points overall 3rd. Congratulation to you guys! Big THX again to all participants! Thx to Tom for his idea and organisation!

Outline:

• This is planned as an internal Dore event.
• The event takes place on Saturday 17/12/2011 at 9 pm (or Sunday 18/12/2011 if requested).
• Every participant comes with a gift.
• Then all gifts will be opened one after the other. Can you guess who made the present to you?
• Conlude the evening in a relaxed atmosphere with your friends.

Rules:

1. Your gift is a map only you know. That may be your favorite map, a self-made one or even the worst map on earth (but shorter than 2 mins). But keep in mind that it should be fun for everyone, so don`t choose a maze, where you are the only one, who can find the way!!! You are allowed to train your own map, but the others you will see only on the event.  Please send your map until Friday 16/12/2011.
2. On date we meet on our server and drive all the tracks in standard rounds mode except 2 WUs for orientation (76 points limit, 25 points 1st, 20 points 2nd,...). The first 5 of each map get points according to their positions (1st/5, 2nd/4, 3rd/3,...). After all the maps are driven, these points will be summed up.
3. The first 3 overall get a special tag designed by our great leader matze.
4. Get surprised and have fun!!!

News:

WST is Over. T2Q (jerem, jbnitro, hykis, gorky) was a little bit to big for us. First Map we started with a 3:0 lead o.O and i started to think, "hey perhaps they are not trained"? After Map was over t2q win with 3:7 o.O² ... they won 7 straigth and i deleted my thoughts about untrained opponents. On 2nd Map we was a little bit closer to them, but some bad bad bugs makes sometimes the difference of 6 points or 2. But i did ever have the feeling, if they are focus the win the run. We loose 2nd Map close with 5:7. Here was more possible, but it was a fine run. From this, t2q needed only one point more to kick us out of competition and they did it. After this neck breaker, both teams little bit more unfocused and the map was going over a 1:5 to 4:7 loose by us. In Fact T2Q was better this evening.

We did run well and won with reaching 1/8 Final 2500 coppers. Schalke gets 1000 Coppers for his 11th place in qualification. Thanks to you all guys especially to mungos and tombuilder for there really nice job in managing this competition for our team!!!! Thx also to our new guys Drufi and Damy
